2 Months!!!

I just can't believe my babies are 2 months old already. I wish I had more time to blog, or wish I could/would take more time to write about all the adorable things and not so adorable things they do. To celebrate 2 months we went to have pictures taken, their first portrait session. I wish I could say it went well, but they were fussy and gassy. We did get some cute shots though. Speaking of gassy, OH MY GOSH!!! We signed up with our peds office to get free samples of Similac as parents of multiples. Little did we know it would be the premade liquid. It took us a while to figure it out but that stuff made our little boys so gassy they would scream out in pain. It has been awful. We put them back on the powder which has helped some, but we're still using Mylicon way too much. We go for their 2 month check up tomorrow so I am definitely asking about switching to a different formula!! I'm not looking forward to seeing them get shots either. It's so hard to see them cry, especially since they are now producing tears. Just breaks my heart. Along with tears, they are also more interactive and smiley. I'm loving it. They are so strong now too. They like to push themselves up when we burp them so that they're standing up and when we put them over our shoulders their little heads stick straight up. It's just amazing to see them grow!!

As for me, I still can't fit into my own pants and most of my pre-pregnancy shirts are snug in the belly area, but I am down to my pre-pregnancy weight. It's so weird how different my body is shaped right now. I'm thinner in some areas, wider in others, and anxiously awaiting my uterus to shrink down more. Thankfully my husband is still hot for me :)

Ahhhhh, the pics are so cute! Kyle is on Mylicon, Gripewater and Nestle Goodstart formula. I give him Mylicon with almost every feeding to prevent future gas from building up and to also help push out the stuff that builds up with feedings. Seems to working well for us! I also agree on the pre-mixed stuff from Similac - Kyle hated it and that's when he became really gassy and fussy, so we're back on the powder as well.

I'm still in maternity pants, although, I haven't tried my regular pants on yet - I'm afraid to. I also haven't weighed myself either, but will get weighed at my 4 week post-partem with my OB. Can't wait to see that number!

Glad to hear you are doing well - we think about you often!!
